Mr. Speaker Schwartzkopf welcomed the Legislative Delegation from Kenya and
introduced Justin Muturi, Speaker, National Assembly and Chair of the Parliamentary Service Commission & Beth Mugo, Senator and Vice Chair of the Parliamentary Service Commission, and invited them to join him on the podium.
A prayer was offered by Representative Harvey R. Kenton, Thirty-sixth Representative
District.
Mr. Speaker Schwartzkopf led those present in the pledge of allegiance to the American flag.
The minutes of the previous legislative day were approved as posted.

Representative Longhurst made comments. Mr. Muturi, Speaker, Kenyan National Assembly and Chair of the Parliamentary Service Commission, addressed the House and introduced members of the delegation. Representative Longhurst made comments. Representative Longhurst deferred to Representative Blakey.
Representative Blakey requested and was granted privilege of the floor to perform a song of welcome for the delegation from Kenya. Representative Longhurst made comments.
Mr. Speaker Schwartzkopf addressed the House and the delegation from Kenya.
Representative Longhurst deferred to Representative Q. Johnson.
Representative Q. Johnson moved to suspend the rules which interfere with introduction of and action on

Representative Longhurst was granted privilege of the floor for herself, Representative Walker & Representative Paradee to present a House Tribute to Phil Sanclemante for his dedication and commitment to the St. Georges Technical High School football team. Zachary Wright, team quarterback, addressed the House. Representative Walker read the tribute. Representative Longhurst introduced Phil’s parents. Representative Longhurst presented a House Tribute to Jeremy Maull, Football Coach, St. Georges Technical High School, in recognition of his outstanding care for his players and his practices of inclusion. Representative Paradee read the tribute. Coach Maull addressed the House. Representative Jaques made a comment. Team members Taronn & Keyjuan Selby announced their names and grades for the record. Other visitors announced their names for the record.
Representative Kenton introduced guests. Representative Kowalko requested that he be
marked present.
The Majority Leader moved to recess for committee meetings and to the call of the Chair
at 2:42 p.m.
