Please make this announcement in chambers on Thursday June 26, 2014.
In preparation for the annual African American Festival, Legislative Avenue will be closed between North M.L.K [sic] Boulevard and South M.L.K. Boulevard beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Friday June 27
th
. Parking on the west side of Legislative Hall will not be available.
Senate members who normally park on the west side of the building will have reserved parking spaces in the Credit Union parking lot.
House members who normally park on the west side of the building will have reserved parking spaces in the Archives parking lot.
This event has been approved by both the Chair and Co-Chair of Legislative Council.
